About Matt
Lt Col Matthew Lohmeier, Air Force Academy grad, F-15 fighter pilot and a former space-based missile warning squadron commander with the US Space Force, is now the Under Secretary of the Air Force.
Previously, he was a public speaker, consultant and author of the bestselling book “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military”.
He also served as the Executive Vice President of STARRS, an organization of US military veterans and citizens concerned about the divisive racist and radical CRT/DEI/Woke ideology and agenda infiltrating the military and they seek to expose, stand up against, and eliminate it in order to keep our country safe.
A 2006 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Matt began his active-duty military career as a pilot, flying over 1,200 hours in the T-38 as an instructor pilot followed by flying the F-15C fighter jet.
After flying, he cross-trained into space operations and gained expertise in space-based missile warning.
Matt promoted two years below the zone to lieutenant colonel, graduated at the top of his classes earning him the distinguished graduate (DG) award at four different Air Force schools, and served as aide-de-camp for a four-star general for one year.
In October 2020, he transferred into the United States Space Force and was placed in command of a space-based missile warning squadron in Colorado.
Matt has two master’s degrees—a master’s in military operational art and science, and a Master of Philosophy in military strategy from the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS), considered by many the Defense Department’s premier strategy school.
He lives with his wife and children in Virginia.
His book Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military was published in May 2021, at which time Matt was a respected active-duty commander in the newly formed US Space Force.
For publishing and speaking about his book, then-Lieutenant Colonel Lohmeier was relieved of his command and subjected to an Inspector General investigation launched from the Pentagon.
He subsequently joined the nation’s biggest media personalities to discuss the proliferation of Marxist-rooted critical race theory (CRT) in the military and its divisive impact on the force and mission.
Matt separated from active duty on September 1, 2021, and became a highly sought public speaker and private consultant on matters of Marxist ideology and tactics, CRT, the betterment of military culture, and the preservation of our liberties.
In July 2024, he became the Executive Vice President of STARRS. In February 2025, President Trump nominated Matt to be the Under Secretary of the Air Force. Matt was confirmed by the Senate in July 2025 and began his term.

Matt's Story
What People Are Saying
“There is no one in this country that is doing more to help defend America and promote the vision and values of our founding fathers than Matt Lohmeier! I have never met anyone who better understands the challenges we are facing today from the “enemy within” than Matt. And absolutely no one articulates the related threats and potential winning strategies with more clarity and aplomb!”–Lt. Gen. Rod Bishop, USAF ret
“As an Army Special Ops covert action and PsyOp soldier, I am so grateful to see other buddy from Air Force to risk his career to wake American people up and be the frontline of fighting Marxists. Thank you.”
“I heard about Matt and immediately bought the book. As a service member myself I can tell you LTC Lohmeier is 100% right.”
“Before retiring from the Air Force, Lt Col M. Lohmeier was the kind of Commander we all prayed for! The man is absolutely brilliant. Thank you, Sir.”
“Matt you are a warrior.”
“I’m a member of the 11th Space Warning Squadron, Lt. Col Lohmeier is one of the better commanders I’ve had. He was on track to becoming a higher ranking General, but his career has been snuffed by higher ups because he’s simply against Marxism and CRT.”
“I know Lt Col Lohmeier pretty well. We worked together. I would follow him to the gates of hell. He did the right thing and he gets nothing less than my full support and admiration.”
“Lt Col Matt Lohmeier understands at the deepest level that America is under siege. He has taken a stand and sacrificed his extraordinarily promising military career for the sake of preserving this God-blessed nation and its military from the poisonous false promises of socialism and communism. American patriots see in Lt Col Lohmeier exactly the kind of leader they hope to see in those who wear the uniform of the United States military and swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.”– Debbie Georgatos, Host of the “America, Can We Talk?” show and of the Women for Freedom Summit
“Imagine an America where a United States military commander is relieved of his command because he is anti-Marxist. Guess what. We’re there. If that’s not a wake-up call, nothing is.”
“I knew Matthew in High School, and he was as well spoken, caring and genuine then as he is now. It is my hope we can all work to affect our sphere of effect for the good and positivity that he talks about. Be the good, people. Be the good.”
“If I had leadership like Lt Col Lohmeier I would still be in the military.”
“Matt is a standup guy who I would go to war with.”
“Lt Col Lohmeier’s book is a very truthful account of what is going on in the military leadership. It tracks with what I was seeing the last few years of a 44-year career, 26 as active duty Air Force and then as a DOD contractor before I had to leave for nonconformance with the jab. I can tell you that if the military continues to go down the current road that it’s not going to end well.”
“Lt Col Matt Lohmeier understands at the deepest level that America is under siege. He has taken a stand and sacrificed his extraordinarily promising military career for the sake of preserving this Cod-blessed nation and its military from the poisonous false promises of socialism and communism. American patriots see in Lt Col Lohmeier exactly the kind of leader they hope to see in those who wear the uniform of the United States military and swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
“Matt represents what our service members are supposed to be and it’s a damn shame he and more like him are not leading the armed forces.”
